Madison Fiscal Court agreed earlier this month to help obtain a grant that will assist in the construction costs of a new God’s Outreach food pantry location.
The Community Development Block Grant, if obtained, could present up to $300,000 in funding for the project.

 Welcome to God’s Outreach, Madison County Food Bank. Since 2001 we have assisted the Madison County community, young, old, shut-in and desperate with food. Our goal when we began was that no one in Madison County would suffer from lack of food. Each month we are growing closer to fulfilling that goal. We believe our goal is realistic and will be accomplished as we continue to enlist people from every area of our community to work with us in this effort. We are not only setting the standard for our county but for other counties as well.
